Terms & Conditions

Service: The service to be provided is Coaching. Coaching is a professional partnership in which we work together to clarify areas that you would like to improve and work toward achieving your desired outcomes in those areas. Coaching is not consulting, advising, or therapy of any kind; We will not engage in therapy or any psychological area that requires therapeutic training and licensing. 

 

My training and certification are as a professional life coach. Coaching is NOT a substitute for medical, therapeutic, legal, financial, or other specific professional advice. I will not offer advice in any area in which I am not qualified and will, upon request, assist you in finding a trained or licensed professional for any matter that is outside my scope of expertise.

Subscriptions, Cancellations, and Refunds: Coaching packages are purchased as subscriptions of either 18 sessions/6 months or 36 sessions/one year. The client may personalize session bookings according to their needs within the 6-month or 12-month timeframe. The contract ends when either is reached first: the number of sessions (18/36) or the timeframe booked (6 months/one year) is reached first.

 

Each session is 45 minutes in duration and takes place over the phone and sometimes over video app. The first session may go longer to allow time for building the foundation of the coaching relationship.  The client will have email access to the coach outside of scheduled sessions. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response from the coach.

This package requires a complimentary call before enrolling. Once the 6-month package is completed, the client may enroll in another 6-month or one-year program upon agreement of appropriateness between client and coach. Payments may be made in full via credit card, Venmo, or Paypal as available on my website.

All cancelations within 24 hours of an appointment will be counted as that week's session. Requests to change an appointment with more than 24 hours of warning will be subject to next availability which can be several weeks wait time. When the coach has a conflict arise or is out of the office at any point during the client's subscription, a week will be added to the client's subscription for each week missed.

 

The client will receive a one-time-only money-back guarantee plus a service fee within the first month of coaching. Should the client be dissatisfied with the coaching experience and communicate this to the coach prior to the first session of the second month, charges will remain for all sessions received up to that point and the client will be refunded for the remaining charges less a nominal service fee of $495.00 for liquidated damages to Brandy Moon Faven LLC.

 

Confidentiality:  All your information, including session details, is kept private and confidential.  The coaching space is a safe space.  As a professional, I am required to contact authorities if you express that you are 1) a danger to yourself, or 2) a danger to others. All information will be kept strictly confidential as allowable by law.

 

Release of Information:  As a professional coach, I engage in training and continuing education in order to pursue and/or maintain credentials with the International Coach Federation. That process requires that I provide the names and contact information of clients for possible verification by the ICF. 

By signing below for this portion of the agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information, and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes or other information will be shared. Please notify me immediately if you are not comfortable with this and I can remove it from the Terms. 

 

Mental State and Substance Abuse: I (client's name) _______________ hereby certify that I do not suffer from any physical or mental disability that might affect my participation in the coaching process, and, if I have any substance abuse problem or mental illness, I have consulted with my physical and other health care professionals and been advised that I may participate in the coaching process without risk. I agree that if there is any change in this representation, I will promptly advise the coach.

If at any point during the coaching relationship, the coach deems that the client requires a higher level of care, the coach will cancel the remaining contract, refund the prorated amount less the number of sessions already received, and will help the client find the appropriate medical or therapeutic support if the client wishes.

 

The Client’s Responsibility:  The client understands that they are responsible for keeping the agreements stated in this contract, as well as any decisions/ actions they take as result of coaching, and for maintaining their own well-being. The client is 100% responsible for their actions and results.

 

If at some point in the coaching relationship, the client determines the coaching relationship is not working for any reason, the client will address this with the coach and both will take action to improve the communication/relationship.

 

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge full understanding and responsibility for the conditions outlined above.
